Build A Boat For Treasure beginner guide

A practical first-run notebook for BABFT players: record the boat, the seat, the failure point and the badge target before copying bigger builds.

First run checklist

Make each attempt useful

The goal is not to publish a perfect boat recipe before testing. The goal is to collect notes that turn into stable guide advice later.

Step 1

Screenshot the first boat before launch.

Step 2

Record where the seat and controls are placed.

Step 3

Write down what broke first.

Step 4

Record the exact badge milestone reached, if any.

Step 5

Change one major part of the build at a time so the next test is useful.

Beginner notes

Common mistakes to check yourself

These are testing prompts, not hidden formulas. Keep the exact result attached to your own build.

Overbuilding upward too early

Do not treat this as a stat rule. For your own test log, record whether taller builds tip or break earlier than lower builds.

Leaving the pilot seat exposed

Record where the seat and controls sit, then note whether they survive the run. This wiki has not published a final seat layout.

Copying video builds without a parts check

Video builds may rely on parts, scale or timing you do not have yet. Convert them into a checklist before spending resources.

Badge-backed route

Use public badge goals as milestones

Badge descriptions are safer anchors than guessed stage math or copied shortcut claims.

Reader rule

How to read this wiki

If a page says needs check, treat it as a lead, not a promise.

If a code is listed as a candidate, test it once and record the exact game message.

If a build comes from a video, copy the part list before copying the shape.

If a glitch requires a download, executor or off-site unlock page, skip it.

Parts and item roles

Move from a first boat into part-role notes without inventing exact stats.

Progression route

Use Roblox badge goals to frame a longer route.

Mech checklist

Turn video builds into testable moving-part checklists.
